The Churches Conservation Trust cares for churches of historic, architectural and archeological importance which are no longer needed for regular worship.

The Trust warmly welcomes visitors to its 325 churches, scattered throughout England. As a charity, the Trust appreciates all contributions towards the maintenance of this rich and varied heritage.

Here at Skelton inCleveland, the Trust owns and maintains the old All Saints' Church. The churchyard remains the property of Skelton-in-Cleveland Parochial Church Council (All Saints' Parish Church) and routine maintenance is the responsibility of Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council.

Volunteers are our life-blood!

There are many ways that  volunteers support our work. As one of over 1,800 individuals who volunteer for us, you will be a valued part of our organisation.

You will work alongside other volunteers and staff to help us care for our wonderful churches to create a professional and friendly environment for visitors and to support our aims to find new uses for churches that benefit the local community.

In return for your time, abilities and energy, we will give you opportunities to develop your skills and interests, to make new friends and to make a satisfying contribution as you help us save historic churches.
